RACHR has developed a new advanced training program, “Elimination of Emergency Oil Spills.” It is designed for specialists working with hazardous materials, as well as decision-makers responsible for emergency situations involving oil spills at industrial, transport, and rail infrastructure facilities.

The program covers the properties of oil and petroleum products, their distribution in the environment, environmental and industrial safety legislation, as well as the causes of accidental spills and their prevention methods.

During the course, students will master modern spill containment and response technologies, the use of specialized equipment and protective gear, and gain practical skills in organizing and coordinating emergency response efforts. Specialists from the South Caucasus Railway will soon be trained in the new program, marking the first stage of its practical implementation.
