Humanitarian response

Humanitarian response is a key area of activity of RACHR and one of the primary objectives of its establishment.
Since the beginning of its operations, the Center has carried out several humanitarian missions both within the Republic of Armenia and abroad — including in Syria and Iran — in accordance with directives of the Government of the Russian Federation and in cooperation with international and national partners.
RACHR has practical experience in organizing the full cycle of a humanitarian mission: from situation assessment and planning to the delivery of aid and on-site operations. The total volume of humanitarian cargo delivered exceeds 350 tons.
As part of its humanitarian missions, RACHR has delivered food supplies, construction materials, as well as equipment and components necessary for the establishment and operation of temporary accommodation centers.
The Center operates cargo vehicles that enable the rapid delivery of humanitarian aid to emergency-affected areas.
An aircraft hangar complex is currently under construction at the RACHR base, which in the future will serve as a hub for the storage of humanitarian supplies and the temporary accommodation of affected populations.
