An advanced training program for canine specialists of the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia has been completed at RACHR. The course focused on the search for victims and deceased persons in collapsed structures resulting from technological and man-made disasters. Eight specialists took part in the training. The course was delivered by instructors from the Stavropol Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Union of Rescuers”.

During the program, participants studied modern approaches to organizing search and rescue operations involving canine teams and improved their practical skills in the training and deployment of service dogs.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing cooperation between handlers and dogs, developing reliable victim detection skills, and improving the dogs’ indication behavior during search operations.
