RACHR conducted readiness exercise at Lake Sevan

RACHR specialists conducted a one-day training exercise at Lake Sevan to assess the readiness of equipment and assets designated for emergency response.

During the exercise, a mobile command post was deployed, training flights of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) were conducted, and jet skis together with other watercraft were tested.

Particular attention was paid to coordination between the Center’s departments during response to emergencies on water bodies, as well as to the practical use of UAS for aerial monitoring of the area.

During the peak bathing season, such exercises help maintain equipment in operational condition and ensure RACHR’s continuous readiness to respond to emergencies on Armenia’s water bodies.
