Armenian Rescuers Complete Training in Road Traffic Accident Rescue Operations

From 19 to 23 October, RACHR conducted a training course entitled “Road Traffic Accident Rescue Operations” for personnel of the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia.
During the theoretical sessions, participants studied procedures for conducting rescue operations at road traffic accident scenes, the use of hydraulic and pneumatic tools, and equipment for extricating trapped casualties. A dedicated section of the training focused on first aid and the specific challenges of rescue operations involving hybrid and electric vehicles, including the associated risks.
The practical training covered response procedures for various road traffic accident scenarios. Particular attention was paid to selecting appropriate rescue tactics and assigning responsibilities among team members. These skills help improve coordination between rescue personnel and enhance the effectiveness of assistance provided to casualties.
