Rescuers from ICDO countries to start training at RACHR

Delegates from the member countries of the International Civil Defense Organization from Algeria, Armenia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Syria arrived at the Center’s base to participate in the training program “Conducting emergency rescue operations in blockages, destroyed buildings and structures.”
Over the course of two weeks, 12 rescuers will undergo theoretical and two large practical blocks under the guidance of the Center’s instructors. The first block is devoted to working with specialized hydraulic, pneumatic and hydrodynamic tools when clearing natural and man-made blockages.
In the second block, students will learn the principles and methods of moving oversized loads using improvised means and mountaineering equipment while observing the necessary safety measures. This block also includes training with crane installation.
At the end of the program, foreign rescuers will have to pass theoretical testing and a night practical exam at the site of the multipurpose training complex of RACHR.
