Rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia saved a young man of French origin who was drowning in Lake Sevan. According to the Rescue Service, the young man fell into the water from a jet ski about 700 meters from the shore due to a strong wave and was unable to get back on it.

Rescuers on the Corvette 500 boat, which our Center transferred for operation to the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, quickly arrived at the scene and pulled the victim out of the water.

Armenian rescuers use inflatable boats and Corvette 500 motorboats, breathing apparatus and diving suits, devices for searching for victims and radio stations, as well as other special equipment of Russian manufacture to patrol the lake’s waters.
