RACHR conducted on-site training for Armenian rescuers

An instructor from our Center conducted an on-site training on the program “Extinguishing Landscape Fires”. The trainings were held with the employees of rescue teams in the cities of Sisian and Kapan in the Syunik region of Armenia. A total of 24 people took part in the training.

During the theoretical classes, the causes of fires, their types, specifics, and the most effective methods for localization and extinguishing were considered. The practical part of the training included working with various fire-fighting and rescue equipment. Among other things, the rescuers practiced tactical actions when extinguishing steppe and forest fires and organizing communications at a fire.
