Armenian rescuers successfully completed a training course in accordance with the INSARAG methodology based on the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response. The training was dedicated to emergency rescue operations in destroyed buildings and rubble.

During the program, specialists mastered the classification of rubble, methods of strengthening structures and key principles of urban search and rescue (USAR). In practical classes, rescuers practiced the creation of support elements and stabilization of emergency structures.

This course became an important stage in the preparation of the Armenian search and rescue team for international certification, which will officially confirm its readiness to eliminate the consequences of urban destruction at the international level.
