The course on the use of UAVs in search and rescue work has finished

A practical course for rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, devoted to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles during search and rescue operations in the mountainous area, was completed in Tavush marz.
During the training, the participants mastered the methods of aerial reconnaissance, searching for conditional victims, as well as transmitting a video signal to the operative headquarters for coordinating the actions of rescue groups.
Practical classes included working with various DJI drones, a thermal imaging camera, a laser rangefinder, performing flights in automatic modes, as well as using specialized software.
Special attention was paid to finding the victims, determining their exact coordinates and promptly transferring the received data to the headquarters of emergency and rescue operations.
