A practical training session for Red Cross personnel was held at the RACHR

A practical training session for staff and volunteers of the Armenian Red Cross Society was held at our Center. Participants practiced fire response procedures, including containing and extinguishing initial fires using fire extinguishers. Additionally, a training simulator was used to replicate a scenario requiring the use of a fire hydrant to extinguish a blaze.

Such training is vital for staff and volunteers at organizations that interact with the public, as it allows them to practice fire response protocols and enhances their readiness to act during the critical first minutes of an incident, when rapid decision-making is essential.

The practical training was preceded by theoretical sessions conducted by the RACHR in late August. Participants learned the fundamentals of fire safety and key response principles, after which they had the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge through hands-on practice at the Center’s training facilities.
