RACHR Begins Training a New Group of Rescuers from ICDO Member States

Training for a new group of rescuers from member states of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) has begun at RACHR. The group includes representatives from Armenia, Algeria, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Tunisia, Mongolia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia and Russia.

A distinctive feature of this training programme is that, for the first time, participants arrived at the Center after completing the basic theoretical online course at the ICDO Academy. On the first day of training, they also completed an online assessment to test the knowledge they had acquired.

Over the next two weeks, under the guidance of RACHR instructors, participants will complete the theoretical and practical components of the “Rope Technologies for Industrial Facilities” programme. The training is focused on developing techniques for conducting rescue operations at elevated industrial facilities, including in situations where access to the necessary equipment is limited, while maintaining operational effectiveness and complying with safety requirements.

The programme will conclude with a final theoretical assessment and a practical examination at the RACHR Multipurpose Training Complex.
