On July 18, the Center’s specialists as observers took part in the training of mutual notification of the CIS member states on the topic “border wildfire”, which was attended by crisis management centers of emergency departments of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The training took place in the videoconferencing mode and was aimed at practicing the information interaction between the central control centers of the CIS countries, whose representatives made presentations on a simulated emergency situation associated with the spread of a natural fire in the border areas of Russia and Kazakhstan, the involvement of additional forces and resources, as well as the evacuation of the population, living in close proximity to fires, among whom were citizens of CIS countries.
