From June 17 to June 29, 2024, the Center organized training for 15 employees of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia under the program “Basics of safety in contact with explosive objects, demining.” The training was conducted by specialists from the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

During the theoretical part of the program, rescuers studied various types of ammunition (rocket and artillery, engineering, aviation weapons) and improvised explosive devices, methods for their disposal and destruction, as well as methods for conducting mine clearance work.

The practical part of the training took place at the training ground of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. During the classes, rescuers worked with various mine clearance equipment, including robotic systems, as well as a special vehicle designed for mine clearance, which was transferred by our Center to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia in 2018. In addition, rescuers received practical training in explosive technologies using explosives and blasting agents.
