In the period from September 6 to 16, specialists of the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia were trained in our center under the advanced training program “Methods of extinguishing large fires in the subway and underground structures.” The classes were held by the senior lecturer of the department of fire tactics and service of the Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, lieutenant colonel – Zakharevsky Victor. The students mastered the methods of calculating forces and means used to extinguish fires in the subway, studied the methods of carrying out operational and tactical actions.
A part of the program was the development of interaction between the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia and the employees of the Yerevan Metro named after Karen Demirchyan.
As a result of the program, students received certificates of advanced training.
