In July, our Center organized training for specialists of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia under the program “Methods of extinguishing large fires in the subway and in underground structures.”
Classes are conducted by teachers of St. Petersburg State Fire Service EMERCOM of Russia.
The students mastered the methods of calculating forces and means used to extinguish fires in the subway, studied the methods of carrying out operational and tactical actions. A part of the program was the development of interaction between the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia and the employees of the Yerevan Metro named after Karen Demirchyan.
