Training of cynological crews of the MES of RA completed at the RACHR

The Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response hosted a ceremony of presenting certificates to dog handlers of the reconnaissance and cynological detachment of the center for the implementation of special-purpose rescue operations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
Certificates were presented to eight cynologists by the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Arkady Balyan.
From May 20 to June 14, within the framework of the activities of the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response, advanced training courses were organized for cynologists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia on the topic: “Using cynological calculations to search for victims of man-made collapses.”
Alexander Alexandrov and Nadezhda Nikolaeva arrived in Armenia to organize the educational process.
At the end of the 144-hour training course at the exercise site, qualification exams were held, as well as a demonstration exercise called “Anti-Terror”.
The task of the cynologists was to check the car parked in front of the building and the surroundings of the building for the presence of explosives, and also to find people under the ruins. The cynologist scouts, both during the exam and during the exercise, were able to clearly fulfill the tasks assigned to them.
Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Arkady Balyan thanked the specialists who arrived for their fruitful work.
