A professional development program titled “First Aid in Emergency Response Operations” has been completed at our Center.
The training was delivered by instructors from the Siberian Fire and Rescue Academy of the State Fire Service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Participants included personnel from the Medical Prevention Department and the Emergency Medical Care Department of the Psychological Support and Medical Services Directorate of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
As part of the course, participants practiced clear response algorithms for the most common life-threatening conditions. Particular attention was given to first aid in cases of gunshot wounds and injuries, frostbite, poisoning, and other critical conditions, as well as to the preparation of casualties for evacuation.
