A meeting of the RARCGR Board was held in Moscow

An in-person meeting of the RACHR Board was held in Moscow. A delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, headed by A.G. Kazaryan, Deputy Minister, Director of the Rescue Service, and Co-Chair of the RACHR Board, visited the Russian capital. The meeting was represented by V.S. Butko, Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and Co-Chair of the RACHR Board.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to the Center’s activities. In particular, they considered the donation of a list of rescue equipment for permanent use to the response component of the RACHR.

It was noted that this measure is aimed at increasing the staffing of fire and rescue teams and improving the efficiency and timeliness of responses to emerging threats to the population and vital infrastructure of Armenia.

Following the meeting, the delegations noted the productive nature of the meeting and emphasized that the decisions made will contribute to the Center’s stable operation this year.
