RACHR conducted training on working with gas analyzers

A training course on the use of dosimetry instruments and gas-air analysis during gas rescue operations was completed in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor province. Six rescuers from the Vayk City Fire and Rescue Team completed the training.

The program was aimed at improving practical skills in working with personal gas analyzers and dosimetric devices, as well as practicing the use of personal protective equipment in potentially hazardous environments.

The Vayk City Search and Rescue Team operates a Kamaz emergency rescue vehicle donated by RACHR and equipped with modern monitoring devices and protective suits. Therefore, the course has become an important tool for the rescuers to improve their readiness to operate the new equipment and strengthen the unit’s operational capabilities.
