As part of their ongoing collaboration with the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan, instructors from our Center held an open lesson for students from Lyceum No. 2 in Metsamor.
After a short lecture on safety basics, the school hallways were filled with safe artificial smoke, and an evacuation drill was conducted. The children were then taught the causes of household fires and how to use fire extinguishers.
The students also learned about drones and how rescuers use them in their work. Furthermore, a photo exhibition commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies was on display on the first floor of the school building, which generated great interest among the students.
