At the request of the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia, on November 26, the RACHR task force assisted the Republic’s fire and rescue units in their efforts to localize and extinguish landscape fires in mountain forests near the city of Dilijan.
Following a meeting with Kamo Tsutsulyan, Deputy Minister of the MIA of RA – Director of the Rescue Service, Co-Chairman of the Board of the RACHR, and Tigran Petrosyan, Deputy Director of the Rescue Service and clarification of the operational situation, our specialists, using ATVs, organized the delivery of firefighters and various fire-fighting equipment to the fire sites, and also carried out monitoring and reconnaissance of the area.
