Armenian rescuers completed training in road accident emergency response

RACHR instructors conducted an on-site training for specialists from the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia from the Shirak region (Gyumri) to improve their skills in handling road accidents.

The conduct of emergency rescue operations during the liquidation of the consequences of road accidents, the use of hydraulic and pneumatic tools, devices and equipment for dismantling the vehicle, unblocking and extracting victims were examined in detail.

Part of the training focused on complex road accidents, i.e. evacuating a person from a vehicle stranded in a ravine. Rescuers practiced stabilizing the vehicle and used climbing equipment to descend to the victim and subsequently evacuate them.
