Center completed training for gas and smoke protectors

From November 10 to 14, 2025, 10 specialists from the rescue service of MIA of Armenia completed training on “Fundamentals of Gas and Smoke Protection in Fires.” During the training, they were introduced to modern methods and technologies in fire search and rescue.

The course included both theoretical and practical parts, during which students studied the processes of fire development and gas exchange, firefighter responsibilities during firefighting, smoke navigation, area reconnaissance algorithms, and rules and methods for evacuating victims.

The acquired knowledge and practical experience will enable Armenian rescuers to more effectively extinguish fires of various types.
