Armenian rescuers trained to work in rubble

Employees of the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia from seven regions of the Republic completed training at our Center under the program “Conducting Emergency Rescue Operations in Destroyed Buildings and Structures.”

During the theoretical part, 12 rescuers learned the basics of first aid and dealing with various types of injuries and also studied methods for searching for victims in rubble.

During practical training, they completed exercises with hydraulic and pneumatic tools, tasks involving freeing victims, breaking through reinforced concrete structures, and overcoming obstacles in confined spaces.

The knowledge gained and practical experience working in man-made rubble will enable Armenian rescuers to conduct search and rescue operations more effectively.
