RACHR developed a training program for working with gas analyzers

A new advanced training program developed at our Center, “Use of Dosimetric Monitoring Devices and Gas-Air Analysis in Gas Rescue Operations,” has concluded in Armenia’s Aragotsotn Marz. Six rescuers from the city of Aparan participated in the training.

The main goal of this program is to improve the skills of rescuers in the use of individual gas analyzers, dosimeters, and the use of personal respiratory and body protective equipment during gas rescue operations.

The importance of this program for training Armenian rescuers lies in the fact that the Republic is home to an operating nuclear power plant, as well as numerous enterprises that use hazardous chemicals, such as chlorine or ammonia.
