The training program “Conducting emergency rescue operations in rubble, destroyed buildings and structures” was completed at RACHR. Delegates from the ICDO member countries from Algeria, Armenia, Kuwait, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Syria took part in the program.
Over the course of two weeks, 12 rescuers, under the guidance of the Center’s instructors, completed a theoretical and two extensive practical training sessions devoted to working with specialized emergency rescue tools and moving oversized loads using improvised means and climbing equipment.
During the training, the Center’s instructors focused on enhancing interaction and strengthening professional ties between rescuers from different countries, providing them with the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience.
At the end of each session rescuers completed practical exams, which took place in the dark. Upon completion, they were awarded personalized certificates for successful completion of the program.
