On August 31, RACHR specialists, at the request of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, took part in the work to extinguish a landscape fire that broke out on a mountainside near the village of Arzakan in the Kotayk region.
The Center’s staff helped Armenian rescuers deliver water on ATVs in hard-to-reach areas and provided information on the spread of the fire using UAVs.
As a result of the coordinated work of the rescuers, the fire was extinguished only by ten o’clock in the evening. According to preliminary estimates, there are no victims or injured.
