From May 12 to 23, the Center held the program “Training of Humanitarian Demining Specialists”, in which 10 employees of the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia took part. The training was conducted by teachers from the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.
During the theoretical part of the program, rescuers studied various types of ammunition and improvised explosive devices, the basics of demining, safety rules for blasting operations, and the procedure for organizing and performing work.
The practical part of the training took place at a specialized training ground using training ammunition. Following the training, the students received certificates of successful completion of the program.
