ICDO Rescuers Complete Rope Technologies Training

Russian Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response completed a training program called “Rope Technologies at Industrial Facilities,” which was attended by delegates from the International Civil Defense Organization member countries of Algeria, Bahrain, Belarus, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Serbia, and Saudi Arabia.

Over the course of two weeks, 12 rescuers, under the guidance of RACHR instructors, successfully completed both the theoretical and practical modules of the program, aimed primarily at working at high-altitude industrial facilities with a shortage of the necessary equipment, but observing all safety measures. They also shared their own practical experience and spoke about the specifics of conducting rescue operations using rope technologies in their countries.

All training participants also took part in international demonstration exercises held at the Center in honor of its 10th anniversary.

At the end of the training, foreign rescuers passed theoretical testing and a team practical exam at the multipurpose training complex after which they were awarded personalized certificates for successful completion of the program.
