RACHR conducted training on working in blockages

In early April, a group of Armenian rescuers underwent training at the Center under the program “Organization of emergency rescue operations in destroyed buildings and structures using the INSARAG methodology.” The training was conducted by instructors from the Training Center of Rescue Units of the Rescue Service of the MIA of Armenia.

During the theoretical training the rescuers studied the technical characteristics of hydraulic, hydrodynamic and pneumatic rescue equipment of Russian manufacture, provided by RACHR.

The practical part of the training included tasks on unblocking victims, breaking through openings in reinforced concrete structures, overcoming obstacles in cramped conditions and using specialized equipment to evacuate victims from the upper floors of destroyed buildings.
