More than 350 gas and smoke protection officers – employees of the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Garrison – will undergo training at RACHR base for one and a half months. The training began on March 31 and will continue until May 13. The topic of the training is “Organization of the gas and smoke protection service and improvement of skills in responding to industrial accidents.”
The classes are held at the Center’s multipurposel training complex. The modules “Heat and Smoke Chamber” and “Fakel” are used in the work, where rescuers will practice searching and rescuing victims from smoke-filled areas, as well as solving problems of extinguishing a production facility in an environment unsuitable for breathing.
RACHR invites organizations from Armenia and other countries interested in professional training of their specialists in the field of emergency prevention and response to cooperate.
