On March 12, the first lesson on basic fire training course for Armenian rescuers in a new fire simulator with solid fuel loading was held at RACHR.
This is the only simulator of its kind in Armenia. It is designed to train firefighters and rescuers in conditions of exposure to dangerous fire factors (smoke, high temperature, open flame, thermal radiation).
Among the features of the simulator is the ability to study fire extinguishing techniques in confined spaces and methods of protecting firefighters from extremely high temperatures. It also allows to analyze combustion processes of various types of fuel and smoke-air mixtures.
The new simulator is as close as possible to real fire conditions, which allows for a qualitative improvement in the professional training of rescuers.
