From March 10 to 14, 11 rescuers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia completed training under the program “Conducting search and rescue operations in blockages”.
During the theoretical part, the rescuers studied the technical characteristics of Russian made hydraulic, hydrodynamic and pneumatic rescue equipment. They also became familiar with the classification of blockages according to INSARAG.
The practical part of the training included tasks on unblocking victims, punching openings in reinforced concrete structures and overcoming obstacles in cramped conditions.
After the final certification, the rescuers received certificates of successful completion of the training.
