Festive events dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day were held in Yerevan and Gyumri. The director of RACHR Alexei Butyrskii took part in it.
On February 21, a festive concert was held at the office of the Border Department of the FSB of the Russian Federation in Armenia, and on the same day, a gala reception was held at the Embassy of Russia, which was attended by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, diplomats, representatives of socio-political and business communities.
The next day, the command of the 102nd Russian military base held an open day in Gyumri, during which guests were shown military equipment and the skills of the servicemen.
On February 23, a delegation headed by the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin, together with representatives of veteran organizations of Armenia, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Victory Park. On the same day, a festive concert was held in the “House of Moscow” in Yerevan, where songs from the war years were performed.
