At the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, training of specialists of the psychological support department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia was completed under the program “Training and advanced training of psychologists for the purpose of introducing the use of the computer polygraph (lie detector) “KRIS”.
The training included many practical classes. Armenian specialists had the opportunity to study the types of questions and tests of polygraph examinations, acquired new practical skills in conducting instrumental psychophysiological surveys using the Russian-made KRIS polygraph, and became familiar with methods of counteracting the polygraph.
This is already the third advanced training program for working with polygraphs; the previous two were held at the RACHR base in Yerevan. Following the course, certificates of advanced training were awarded.
