On December 10, our Center was visited by more than 30 children from the Public-Patriotic Movement under the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Armenia “Young Friends of Border Guards”.
RACHR and “Young Friends of Border Guards” are implementing a joint program on Basic Tourist Training for schoolchildren. During the classes, RACHR instructors talked about the types of ropes used in rescue work and taught the children how to tie several basic knots.
Weekly classes are planned until the end of 2024, as well as throughout 2025, including hikes in the mountainous and forested areas of Armenia.
