Armenian firefighters complete training at RACHR

From November 4 to 8, 2024, 10 specialists of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia underwent training at the RACHR on the topic “Basics of a gas smoke protection worker in a fire”. During the training, they became familiar with current methods and technologies in the field of search and rescue in a fire.

The training included not only a theoretical but also a practical part, during which the students studied the processes of fire development and gas exchange, the duties of a firefighter when performing a fire extinguishing task, orientation in smoke, algorithms for reconnaissance of small and large areas, as well as the rules and methods for evacuating victims.

After the final certification, the rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received certificates for successful completion of the training.
