Once again, 12 specialists of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia were trained at our Center under the program “Organization and Management of the Rescue Service in the Collapse of Buildings and Structures” certified by the International Civil Defence Organization. The training was conducted by instructors of professional training of our Center on a universal training complex.
During the theoretical training, the rescuers studied the technical characteristics of hydraulic, hydrodynamic and pneumatic rescue equipment of Russian manufacture, as well as the issues of organizing communications during rescue operations. In addition, they became familiar with the classification of rubble according to INSARAG.
The practical part of the training included tasks on unblocking victims, punching openings in reinforced concrete structures, overcoming obstacles in cramped conditions and extracting people from under rubble.
This program has a high efficiency of training personnel, which increases the competence and practical experience of rescuers.
