From September 9 to 13, employees of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia successfully completed an advanced studying of the capabilities of UAVs in conducting rescue operations.
The students learned about special software for performing automatic flights according to pre-set coordinates.
Based on the data obtained, the rescuers learned to create detailed maps of search and rescue areas and perform spatial measurements on them.
Techniques for searching for victims and fire sources using laser rangefinders and thermal imaging cameras were also worked out.
The center invites organizations from Armenia and other countries interested in professional training of their specialists in the field of emergency prevention and response to cooperate.
