From August 19 to 23, 2024, 10 volunteers of the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) successfully completed training on the topic of “Organization of search and rescue operations in blockages.” The training was conducted by professional training instructors of our Center.
During the theoretical training, the volunteers became familiar with the basics of safety works, studied the classification of blockages according to INSARAG, as well as the rules for working with hydraulic, hydrodynamic and pneumatic rescue equipment provided by the Center.
The practical part of the training included tasks to free injured persons, as well as the use of a fire escape ladder and rope technologies to extract people from the rubble.
