Red Cross volunteers trained in road accident rescue operations

From August 5 to 9, the Center’s instructors conducted training for volunteers of the Armenian Red Cross Society (ARCS) under the program “Rescue operations in case of road accidents” in the city of Armavir.

During the training, ARSC staff studied the structure and design features of vehicles, including modern hybrid cars, as well as various methods of unblocking and extracting victims from vehicles using hydraulic and pneumatic tools.

Much attention was paid to the technologies of emergency rescue operations during the road accidents and algorithms for providing qualified first aid to victims of road accidents.

At the end, the rescuers received personalized certificates for successful completion of the program.
