From June 22 to 26, 2024, 12 employees of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia successfully completed training under the program «Rescue operations in case of collapsed buildings and blockages». The training was conducted by instructors of our Center.
During the theoretical part, the rescuers studied the technical characteristics of Russian made hydraulic, hydrodynamic and pneumatic rescue equipment, provided by the Center, as well as the issues of organizing communications during rescue operations. In addition, they became familiar with the classification of rubble according to INSARAG.
The practical part included tasks to punch openings in reinforced concrete structures, overcome obstacles in cramped conditions, and extract people from the blockages.
