RACHR equipment helps to patrol Lake Sevan

From July 1, the Water Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia and the Rescue Service on Lake Sevan switched to an enhanced duty regime to ensure safety and public order during the beach season.

To patrol the water area of the lake, Armenian rescuers also use Russian-made equipment transferred by RACHR to the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

Such equipment includes inflatable boats and Corvette 500 boats, breathing apparatus and diving suits, victim search devices and radio stations, as well as other special equipment. In addition, Armenian rescuers use KS-820 boats, transferred to Armenia by the Russian Federation.

Last week, at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, RACHR handed over one inflatable boat, which will be used to ensure the safety of vacationers on Lake Sevan.
