From June 17 to June 29, 2024, the Center conducted training for 6 employees of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia under the program “Organization and conduction of search and rescue works in collapsed buildings and structures.” The training was conducted by specialists from the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The practical part of the training included tasks on unblocking victims, making openings in structures, overcoming obstacles in cramped conditions and extracting victims from the blockage and upper floors of buildings.
During the training, rescue equipment (hydraulic, hydrodynamic, pneumatic), acoustic and television devices for searching made in Russia and provided by RACHR were used.
