On May 19, 2015, an agreement was signed on the creation of RACHR. Over the years of its work, the Center’s employees have carried out several successful operations to deliver humanitarian aid and participated in eliminating the consequences of emergency situations in Armenia, Syria, and Iran.
The material and technical base allow us to deal not only with issues of humanitarian response, but also with educational activities. Currently, the Center has the status of a regional training center of the International Civil Defense Organization, actively cooperates with leading universities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, and also develops its own training programs for firefighters and rescuers in a wide variety of aspects of their work.
RACHR continues to develop and expand its infrastructure. The Center’s employees closely monitor modern technologies and innovations in the field of rescue work and are looking for new approaches to responding to emergencies. This allows us to look into the future with optimism and be ready to accomplish the most ambitious tasks.
