From April 1 to April 12, a training program for specialists of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia entitled “Working at heights using climbing equipment” was held at the RACHR multipurpose training complex.
The training was attended by 12 rescuers and flight commanders, who completed both basic and advanced training courses over 2 weeks. Among other things, they learned methods of organizing a crossing, evacuation from a shaft as well as methods of lifting and lowering an injured person accompanied by a small group of rescuers.
In addition, they studied techniques on working with equipment for moving in unsupported space and learned about the features of its use in various situations. At the end, the rescuers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received certificates of successful completion of the program.
