One of the activities of our Center is the delivery of humanitarian aid to the population of areas affected by a humanitarian catastrophe or on the brink of one.
We continually demonstrate the importance, effectiveness and positive impact of humanitarian action.
In 2023, the Russian-Armenian Center of Humanitarian Response delivered 23 tons of humanitarian aid to the population of the Islamic Republic of Iran affected by the earthquake. The cargo, consisting of tents, folding beds and blankets, was handed over to representatives of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Center also delivered humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. Blankets and beds for organizing sleeping places were transferred to the municipalities of Sevan, Gavar and Masis. In just two days, more than 2.5 tons of humanitarian cargo were delivered.
In November, assistance was provided to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Armenia in solving logistical problems for the delivery of 40 tons of humanitarian cargo, organized on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, the cargo included food, blankets and a mobile power station.
Currently, the construction of a hangar complex is being completed on the territory of the Center, which will significantly expand the capabilities of RACHR as a logistics hub for the delivery of humanitarian aid in the future.
We invite everyone interested in working together to develop and support humanitarian missions in the countries of the region to cooperate.
