In the period from February 5 to 9, instructors of our Center conducted an on-site training “Liquidation of the consequences of road accidents” with rescuers of the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia in the city of Abovyan.
During the training, rescuers were shown modern rescue tools, technologies for carrying out emergency rescue operations during the liquidation of road accidents, and an algorithm for providing first aid to victims of road accidents.
Particular attention was paid to the elimination of accidents with cars running off steep slopes and cliffs, where it is necessary to use climbing equipment to rescue victims; this type of accident is considered one of the most difficult and requires a lot of experience and skills from rescuers. This knowledge is very relevant since in Armenia there are a lot of roads running through mountainous areas.
