The specialists of our Center not only conduct training and education for students, but also regularly improve their skills.
So this week, RACHR instructors completed a two-day first aid course within the walls of the Armenian Red Cross Society.
Teaching the population how to provide first aid is a traditional activity of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement around the world.
First aid is not a theory, but a skill. You can’t learn this by reading even the best how-to guide. In order to be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stop bleeding and bandage a wound, it is necessary to practice under the guidance of professionals. Taking first aid training is a real chance to someday save a person’s life.
The knowledge gained will undoubtedly be useful for us when conducting classes and carrying out humanitarian operations.
